Elena serves as Head of the Legal Division of the Expert Council on Creative Economy of the CIS Business Council.

She has deep expertise in IP audits of large companies, development of intellectual property management systems, registration of IP assets, international patenting, and strategic IP management.


Prior to joining LKP, Elena led a number of large-scale projects, including:

  • Supervising one of the крупнейших international patenting programmes at Rosatom, involving over 1,500 patent applications across 35+ jurisdictions and the creation of strategic patent portfolios valued at billions of roubles;

  • Heading a unit responsible for developing an IP management system within the Moscow Department of Healthcare, including legal protection strategies, patenting of medical innovations, and protection of a unified healthcare brand;

  • Delivering multiple крупные IP projects within a leading audit and consulting firm ranked among the Top 10 in Russia.


Selected Experience

  • Representing a distributor of one of the world’s leading veterinary product manufacturers in a complex dispute with the rights holder arising from sanctions and market exit, achieving full settlement and withdrawal of claims (including proceedings before FAS and the IP Court);

  • Advising one of Russia’s largest wineries: analysis of a 200+ product portfolio for registrability, development and registration of a comprehensive brand identity portfolio, and mitigation of reputational risks related to naming conflicts;

  • Implementing a comprehensive IP management system for a leading plastic card manufacturer in Eastern Europe and the CIS, resulting in increased company valuation, reduced tax risks, and protection of key assets;

  • Developing industry-level patent analytics for MIPT in the field of artificial intelligence, including patent landscapes, technology audits, and competitor analysis, forming the basis for a market-leading patent strategy;

  • Conducting multiple IP due diligence projects for major transactions involving Rostec group companies as part of a leading consulting team.
