Ilya has extensive experience in international structuring, including the development of foreign holding and trading structures. He also specialises in comprehensive legal support of cross-border transactions and foreign economic activity (FEA).

His portfolio includes projects for clients such as Sovfracht, STS-Hydro, Gulliver, Körting, Dimet Group, Europlast, Salford, Sapsan, Polyus Gold, Technoexport, TerraLink, Pipeline Systems and Technologies, Elvis-NeoTech, Awatera, Resources of the Lesser Khingan, Liga Stavok, and Soyuz-M.

Selected Experience

• Advising an agro-industrial enterprise on a cross-border transaction involving the procurement of over 1,000 foreign-manufactured vehicles for a major Russian holding;

• Structuring a complex international holding structure for a gold mining company, including secured financing mechanisms;

• Establishing a trading structure based on an agency model for a major industrial equipment supplier entering the Middle East market;

• Contract structuring for a Turkish construction company in relation to construction services provided to a Russian client.
